In this 8-week class, you will delve into the science and art of nervous system regulation through applied SE mindfulness skills for emotion regulation, anxiety, stress reduction, and mental wellness. You’ll learn the basics of Somatic Experiencing® and Polyvagal theory to increase self-awareness, self-compassion and your capacity for more grounded and authentic presence, rooted in flexibile nervous system physiology. You’ll learn practical skills to track your nervous system in the present moment, and identify specific ways to trust your nervous system to remember how to find regulation on it’s own.
At the end of the class, you’ll feel more empowered to choose how you want to respond to triggers, stressful situations and memories, without overwhelm and emotional flooding.
Who is this class for?
This class is open to everyone who wants to learn effective ways to show up authentically with more presence as well as capacity to navigate stressors, and triggers in every day life. It’s also for folks who have struggled with symptoms of nervous system dysregulation such as emotional overwhelm, anxiety, panic, and insomnia.
